Singer and keyboardist Paul Meany, once of the Christian rock radical Earthsuit, was living and operative in New Orleans when in 2001 he began a long-distance melodic correspondence with drummer and programmer Darren King, wHO was based in Springfield, MO. Sending CD-Rs back and forward up the Mississippi River, Meany and King wrote sufficiency songs together to win over King to relocate to New Orleans and start a right band. Adding guitar player Greg Hill and bassist Roy Mitchell-Cardenas, the new ring completed the Meany-King compositions in 2003; Meany took the resulting demo to famous CCM manufacturer Tedd T., wHO was enthusiastic sufficiency to lead off up the indie label Teleprompt Records to spillage 2004's Reset EP.
