Peter OToole tribute at Galway Film Fleadh

The Galway Film Fleadh in association with the Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) pay tribute to screen legend Peter O'Toole.
O'Toole, whose career spans five decades, will be the focus of a special Public Interview and screen retrospective at the festival, which takes place from 8 to 13 July.
With an acclaimed catalogue of films that include 'Lawrence of Arabia', 'Venus' and 'The Last Emperor', the Galway Film Fleadh will screen a selection of films chosen specifically by O'Toole.
Among the titles screening are 'My Favourite Year', 'Jeffery Bernard is Unwell', 'Rogue Male' and 'Goodbye Mr. Chips', for which he received two of his eight Oscar nominations.
Speaking about the tribute Miriam Allen, Managing Director of the Galway Film Fleadh, said: "While few actors make legendary impressions on both the screen and the stage, Peter O'Toole has made numerous impressions on both platforms."
